Food Pick-up Instructions and Etiquette
~ Pick-up Time is on Tuesday PM from 7 – 11 PM.
-If you need to come later than 11 PM please leave us an email or voicemail message letting us know of your late arrival. There is no problem with coming later than 11 PM. We just like to know so that your food is not sitting outside indefinitely, and we are not wondering if you are going to show up. If you are coming between the hours of 7-11 PM there is no need to contact us. Just show up.
~Your food will be outside in a cooler. You will see coolers to the left of the front door. Your cooler will have your name on it and your food will be inside in a bag. Simply take your bag of food and please leave the cooler and icepack.
~Payment Info: Pick-up orders must pay at time of pick-up, or provide us with a credit card.
-Please leave a check or cash in the lockbox on the wall to the left of the coolers.
-Please bring exact change if leaving cash.
-Please label cash (so we know who it is from), there are post-it notes and pens on the table by the lockbox, or fold it inside of your bill (bill will be inside bag of food), and drop it in lockbox.
-Do not leave money in the cooler.
~ Parking:
-The driveway is large enough to accommodate two cars side by side.
-Please pull into one side of the driveway or the other. Do not block entire driveway.
-Please do not park on the grass.
~First time pick-ups: if you would like to meet us please give us an ETA so that we can be available to meet you.
~Subsequent pick-ups: Due to consultations, other appointments, and normal time constraints we are not always available to see you each week when you pick your food up, so it is best if you let us know if you want to say “hi”!
-If there is a food pick-up related issue that you have not addressed in advance we will do our best to accommodate you at that time. Examples of food pick-up related issues would be: wrong order in your cooler, you don’t see your cooler, the bill is incorrect, you forgot your checkbook, etc.
-If you would like to see us for issues unrelated to food pick-up, such as questions about your health, your condition, how to practice macrobiotics, etc. please call or email for a consultation. Appointments are available Wednesday nights. Contact us for pricing details.
~In the event that you are unable to make it on Tuesday night please give us a call as soon as you know so that we don’t put your food out.
-We will hold your food for you until the next day. We will need an approximate time of arrival (such as morning, afternoon, or evening) for the next day so that we can leave your cooler out for you.
-If there are repeated incidents of not being able to get here on Tuesday night we will have to switch you to our convenient and reasonable no stress delivery service.
